This page explains what cookies rpfitness.co.uk uses and what each one does. For everything else about how personal information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you are logged in or what you have chosen.
Some cookies are set by RP Fitness. Others are set by services used on the site, such as Google.
Your choices
Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set if you accept them. When you first visit, you can accept or reject them.
You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you using the site, booking an appointment or buying a course.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells real visitors apart from automated traffic and protects the site from abuse | 30 minutes |
| Consent cookie | RP Fitness | Remembers your cookie choices so you are not asked again | 12 months |
| WordPress login cookies | RP Fitness | Keeps you logged in to your course account. Only set if you have an account and log in | Session, or 14 days if you choose to stay signed in |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | PayPal and payment processing | Fraud prevention during checkout. Only set when you go through checkout | Up to 12 months |
Preference cookies
These remember choices you make. They are not essential but improve the experience.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
maz-resolved-color-mode | Injury clinic booking widget | Remembers light or dark display preference in the booking form | 12 months |
Analytics cookies
These help RP Fitness understand how the site is used, such as which pages people visit and how they found the site. The information is used to improve the site.
These are only set if you accept them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another | 400 days |
_ga_1V755BTVND | Google Analytics | Records the state of your visit | 400 days |
Advertising cookies
RP Fitness advertises through Google Ads. These cookies show whether an advert led to a visit, and allow RP Fitness adverts to be shown to you on other websites you visit afterwards. This is called remarketing.
These are only set if you accept them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Links an advert click to a later action on the site, and supports remarketing | 90 days |
If you accept advertising cookies, information about your visit is shared with Google so that it can show you relevant adverts elsewhere. Google is responsible for that information under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Embedded content
The contact page and the injury clinic page include a Google map so you can find the gym.
When one of these pages loads, Google receives your IP address and the address of the page, whether or not you use the map. This happens because the map is served by Google rather than by RP Fitness.
Managing cookies in your browser
As well as the choices on this site, most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions are usually under Privacy or Security.
Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site working, including logging in to a course account.
